1. Privacy at a glance
We do not upload, collect, view, transmit, or store your videos, extracted audio, transcripts, translations, subtitle text, edits, or exported videos. Your content remains on your device unless you choose to save, share, or export it elsewhere.
2. Videos, audio, transcripts, and translations
The app may access a selected video, analyze its audio, create and translate a timed transcript, let you style subtitles, and export a video or subtitle file. These operations are performed locally. We do not use your content for advertising, profiling, AI training, or any unrelated purpose.
3. Photo library and file access
Permission is used only to select and process a video, save an export, or export a transcript or subtitle file. You control access through device settings; removing permission may prevent importing or saving.
4. No user accounts
Video Translate Transcriber does not require an account and does not maintain user profiles, passwords, contact lists, or account histories.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes weekly subscriptions, eligible introductory trials, and one-time lifetime purchases. We do not receive or store payment-card information, Apple Account passwords, or billing credentials. Apple may provide limited purchase information to confirm access or restore a purchase.
6. Support communications
When you email us, we may receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your email address, message, device details, screenshots, or attachments. We use it to respond, investigate issues, protect the Services, or maintain necessary records. Do not send sensitive content unless necessary and you are comfortable sharing it.
7. Analytics, advertising, and diagnostics
We do not use your videos, transcripts, translations, or subtitles for analytics, sell personal information, use targeted advertising, track activity across third-party apps or websites, or include third-party advertising. Apple may provide limited crash or diagnostic information permitted by your settings; it does not include your content and is used only to improve reliability and security.
8. Website information
Our hosting provider may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, access time, requested pages, referring page, and security or error logs. The website does not upload or process your videos.
9. Sharing and retention
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Limited information may be processed by providers such as Apple, our email provider, or our host; disclosed for legal or safety reasons; or transferred with limited business records in a business transfer. We do not retain media, transcripts, translations, subtitles, or exports processed in the app. Support emails may be retained as reasonably necessary.
10. Security, choices, and rights
Local processing means your content is not stored on our servers, but no system is completely secure. Protect your device, passcode, Apple Account, files, and backups. You may manage permissions, delete files, control diagnostic sharing, manage subscriptions, restore purchases, and contact us with a privacy request. Applicable laws may give you rights to access, correction, or deletion.
11. Children, international users, and third parties
The Services are not directed to children under 13. Support emails and website technical information may be processed where our providers operate, including the United States. Apple services and third-party links are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Changes and contact
