Acceptance of terms and eligibility
These Terms & Conditions / EULA ("Terms") govern your use of SourceExtract. By downloading, purchasing, installing, or using SourceExtract, you agree to these Terms.
You may use SourceExtract only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law and are allowed to use the App Store in your region. If you use SourceExtract on behalf of another person or organization, you are responsible for making sure you have authority to do so.
App license
Subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store rules, SourceExtract grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Apple devices that you own or control.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit SourceExtract except where allowed by applicable law or Apple's terms.
What SourceExtract does
SourceExtract helps users save direct media files they have the right to use. It provides an in-app browser and scanning tools that may identify downloadable images, videos, and related media resources exposed by webpages.
Not every page can be scanned. Some sites block scanning, require login, use protected streams, or do not expose downloadable files.
Your responsibility for rights and permissions
You are responsible for making sure you own, license, or otherwise have permission to save, download, export, share, or use any content you access with SourceExtract.
SourceExtract does not grant you rights to third-party content. The fact that a file is visible, discoverable, downloadable, cached, or technically accessible does not mean you have permission to copy or use it.
Unsupported and prohibited use
You may not use SourceExtract to:
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights.
- Share illegal files or participate in illegal file sharing.
- Bypass DRM, encryption, paywalls, access controls, subscription controls, login restrictions, rate limits, or technical protections.
- Scrape private content, non-public pages, account-only content, or content you are not authorized to access.
- Abuse websites, overload services, evade blocks, automate harmful activity, or violate third-party website terms.
- Use downloaded content in a way that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or rights-restricted.
Third-party media warning
Protected, private, paid, streaming, subscription, account-restricted, DRM-protected, or rights-restricted services may not work with SourceExtract and may not be supported.
SourceExtract is not designed to unlock, decrypt, bypass, remove, or defeat protections from paid, private, or streaming services.
No guarantee of extraction
SourceExtract may not find files on every website. Scans and downloads can fail because of site blocking, file protection, authentication, cross-origin limits, network errors, streaming formats, unsupported file types, temporary outages, or changes made by third-party websites.
A failed scan or failed download does not create any extra charge.
Purchase terms, charges, and refunds
SourceExtract is currently sold as a one-time $0.99 App Store purchase. There are no hidden recurring fees, subscriptions, or in-app purchases unless a future version clearly adds them through Apple's App Store purchase flow.
Apple handles App Store purchases, payment processing, refunds, taxes, family sharing eligibility, and payment information. Refund requests must be made through Apple according to Apple's policies.
Third-party websites and content
SourceExtract is a browser and scanning tool. We do not own, control, endorse, review, or take responsibility for third-party websites, media files, content, links, trackers, cookies, terms, privacy practices, or availability.
Your use of third-party websites is governed by those websites' own terms and policies.
User files and ownership
You keep whatever ownership rights you already have in files you download, save, export, or create. SourceExtract does not claim ownership of your files or any downloaded content.
You are responsible for your use, storage, sharing, backup, deletion, and export of files.
Storage and data loss
You are responsible for managing your device storage, iCloud settings, backups, deleted files, exported files, and any destination where you save media.
Deleting the app, clearing browsing data, clearing history, deleting downloads, changing iOS settings, or running out of device storage may remove data or make files unavailable.
App changes
We may add, remove, limit, rename, or change features, supported file types, scan behavior, download behavior, browser behavior, pricing, availability, or support options over time.
Third-party websites can also change in ways that affect whether SourceExtract can scan or save files from them.
Termination
We may restrict support or access to any SourceExtract-operated service if we believe there is abuse, illegal use, security risk, fraud, or violation of these Terms. Your rights under these Terms end automatically if you violate them.
Disclaimers
SourceExtract is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that SourceExtract will always work, find every file, support every website, avoid all errors, remain uninterrupted, or meet your expectations.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SourceExtract and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost files, business interruption, device issues, website changes, failed scans, failed downloads, or third-party claims.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to SourceExtract will not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SourceExtract and its operator from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the app, your files, your downloaded content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights or laws.
Governing law and dispute process
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at elilinden@gmail.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.
These Terms are a practical template for App Store publication and should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before launch or enforcement.
Apple App Store terms
Apps distributed through the App Store are licensed, not sold. Unless SourceExtract provides a separate custom EULA accepted through Apple, your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and the App Store terms that apply to your Apple account.
Apple is not responsible for SourceExtract support, warranty claims, product claims, intellectual property claims, or legal compliance except as required by Apple's own terms and applicable law.
