Frequently asked questions
Why did a scan find nothing?
Some sites block scanning, require a login, use protected streams, or do not expose direct downloadable files. SourceExtract cannot unlock, bypass, or remove those protections.
Why did a download fail?
Downloads can fail because of network issues, authentication, file protection, unsupported formats, expired URLs, or site rules. A failed scan or failed download does not create any extra charge.
Where are files saved?
Files you choose to save can be written to Photos or Files, depending on the option you select. You manage those saved files through iOS.
Can I use any media I find?
No. You are responsible for making sure you own or have permission to save, download, export, share, or use content from third-party websites.
