Terms of Service
These Terms are the agreement between you and Eli Linden ("we," "us") for your use of the Wearra iOS app. Using the app means you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Wearra, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the app on behalf of someone else, you confirm you have their permission.
2. Account eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Wearra.
- You need a valid Google account to sign in.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials private.
- One person per account. Don't create accounts for other people or impersonate anyone.
3. Credits, purchases, and the Pro subscription
How credits work
- Each virtual try-on render costs one credit.
- Free tier: 2 lifetime renders. These do not reset. Once used, you'll need to subscribe to Pro or buy a top-up pack.
- Pro: 30 renders per month, reset at the start of each billing period.
- Top-up pack: 5 renders per purchase. Top-up credits do not expire.
Products
| Product | Type | Apple product ID |
|---|---|---|
| Pro (monthly) | Auto-renewing subscription | com.wardrobeapp.pro_monthly |
| 5-render top-up | Consumable purchase | com.wardrobeapp.20_renders_pack |
| Unlimited Renders (legacy) | Auto-renewing subscription — grandfathered; no longer sold to new users | com.wardrobeapp.unlimited_renders |
Billing and auto-renewal
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID.
- Your Apple ID is charged at confirmation of purchase and again at the start of each renewal period.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Price, duration, and renewal terms are shown on the purchase screen inside the app before you confirm.
- Consumable top-up packs are one-time purchases and do not renew.
Managing and cancelling
Cancel or manage your subscription at any time through your Apple ID:
iPhone Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Wearra → Cancel Subscription.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You'll keep Pro features until then.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. If a charge was clearly made in error, we're happy to help advocate with Apple — email batchcompressvideos@gmail.com.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Wearra to:
- Generate images of people without their consent, especially images that are sexual, harassing, defamatory, or deceptive.
- Generate content of minors in a sexualized or inappropriate context.
- Try to identify, harass, or stalk a real person using someone else's photos.
- Upload photos you don't have the right to use.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract the app or our backend.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercialize rendered images or outputs without adding meaningful creative work of your own.
- Share, trade, or transfer credits between accounts, or exploit bugs to grant yourself additional credits.
- Interfere with other users, our servers, or third-party providers we rely on.
- Use the app to violate any law.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
You own your photos. We don't claim ownership of the wardrobe, avatar, or garment images you upload, or of the renders produced from them.
To operate the app, you give us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, transmit, and process your content — including sending it to Google's Gemini API as described in our Privacy Policy — solely for the purpose of providing the app's features to you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account (except for copies in routine backups that expire shortly after).
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload any photo you submit.
6. AI outputs — no guarantees
Outfit suggestions, chat responses, item tagging, and other AI-generated content are provided "as is." They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or reflect the biases of the underlying models. Use your own judgment before acting on them.
7. Account deletion and data retention
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. When you do, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this period:
- You are signed out of the app on all devices.
- Your data is hidden from the app and inaccessible to you.
- We retain your data internally so we can respond to chargebacks, fraud claims, and support disputes.
After 30 days, all user-identifying data (profile, photos, outfits, credit history, reports) is permanently and irrevocably deleted. We retain a minimal audit record (email, deletion date) for up to 12 months for fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
To cancel a scheduled deletion, email batchcompressvideos@gmail.com within the 30-day window.
8. Third-party services
Wearra depends on third-party services, including Firebase, Google Gemini, Google Vertex AI, Apple (StoreKit, DeviceCheck, APNs), and Open-Meteo, as listed in our Privacy Policy. If any of those services change, degrade, or become unavailable, the app's features may be affected. We're not responsible for problems caused by third-party services, but we'll do our best to work around them.
9. Changes to the app and these Terms
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may also update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and show a notice inside the app. Continuing to use Wearra after a change means you accept the new Terms.
10. Termination
You can stop using Wearra at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your use creates legal or security risk, or if we discontinue the app.
11. Disclaimers
Wearra is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI outputs will be accurate.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Eli Linden and Wearra will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app.
Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions don't allow some of these limitations, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of (a) your violation of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the app, or (c) content you upload that infringes someone else's rights.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If you are a consumer in the EU/UK, this does not deprive you of the protections of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
15. Apple-specific terms
Wearra is distributed through Apple's App Store. These Terms are between you and us — not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or any claims relating to it. Apple is, however, a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
