Batch Compress Videos is designed to preserve original creation dates, and may preserve GPS location metadata when available, so your compressed videos remain organized in Photos.
Video encoding is CPU/GPU intensive. It’s normal for your device to get warm during large batches. For long sessions, consider plugging into power.
iOS may reduce performance when an app is in the background. For best speed and reliability, keep Batch Compress Videos open during compression.
Compressed videos are exported back to your Photos library. If you chose to delete originals after a successful batch, originals may move to “Recently Deleted” in Photos.
